I admit it, I got sucked in by the Twilight series. I bought the first book so I could read it prior to seeing the movie. The first few chapters were a bit rough for me. I started to think that I could live without reading it. Ha Ha ha! Before I knew it, it was well past my bed time, and I was still reading. I couldn't put it down. I just had to know what happened to Bella and Edward. Sheeesh!
Fast forward to today. I have read all 4 books (literally in 3 days) and seen the movie twice. I went with a dear friend visiting from out of town the second time. And now I have discovered the formally illegally leaked draft of Morning Sun, a retelling of Twilight from Edwards perspective. I am torn as to whether or not I should read it now, knowing that eventually it will make its way to print. The first few pages are making it really hard not to read it on-line.
I was even more excited to discover excerpts from each book published on the author's website. For instance what happened prior to prom. How Bella got ready, where they had dinner, etc. It was pretty good. I even found out what most expected or at least hoped, that the second book will be turned into a movie. It appears that the whole series will be on screen eventually!
So if you have been checking in periodically on my blog for a new post, I apologize. I have been literally nose down in a book for the last week. I did manage to help my DH repaint our living room. I even put up lights outside for the first time in 6 years of living in our house. I figured better late than never. My DH is hoping to have us in a new home before our oldest starts school. Yikes!
