Not sure where this post is going, but I really wanted to check in before the weekend. A couple of snow days, a teething baby, and LollyCake orders makes for a busy week. Lots and lots of excitement.
As for the title of this post, I am participating in a steampunk swap due in April. The hostess has requested that we go to this site to generate our steam-punk names. I started with my maiden name, and changed it to my married name. I was totally surprised by the results. Kingsland is my grandmother's maiden name. It's a keeper. I have purchased the supplies for my pieces, and will do my best to post a picture when they are completed.
Michael will be competing in his 3rd tournament this weekend, and I hope he has a great time. They didn't have any practices this week due to the weather, but I am confident in the coaches and their ability to help the kids during the match.
Claire turned 8 months old yesterday, and I have yet to take a picture. She has had the sniffles, along with lots of drool which usually means a tooth is trying to make an appearance. I have yet to see or feel a bump, but it's just a matter of time. Her latest trick - waving. So fascinated with her hands.
Poor Cam, it always seems like I am leaving him out of things. He is working hard at being him. Super busy, rarely sits still, and constantly worrying me half to death with his seemingly fearless attitude. Kindergarten registration starts soon...
My best friend is having her baby tomorrow, and I can't wait to meet her. My thoughts will be with her and her hubby tomorrow as we wait for news.
