Things were starting to green up here. The weather was beautiful, and then mother nature decided to shake things up. Snow!!!
Really, my daffadills and tulips were on the verge of blooming, the pussy willow tree (a suprise in the back yard!) was budding, and the grass was turning green. And for all the fellow teachers out there, the kids were showing signs of "spring fever".
Out of no where, the winds chills considerably, the skies turned that cold wintery grey, and little flakes started falling. Thankfully they are not sticking around, but I am beginning to get weather whiplash!!! Plus the people, it's like a weather reboot. Spring weather brings out the crazy drivers for a few days, you know the ones who are celebrating the sweet freedom of the windows down and clear streets. Then the snow hits, and the crazy drivers that had started to settle down are now in panic driving mode or worse, they forget that YES the roads can be slick even in mid March.
Oh well, what can you do? Me, I stay inside and bake. I am still making cake pops, but I have since added to my baking skills. I now create doughnuts and have even started working on fresh croissants.
Hopefully, I can share pictures soon!
